The Vietnamese Embassy in Pakistan has recently organized a Spring Homeland 2024 program in Islamabad with the participation of the Vietnamese community in the host country.

Speaking at the event held on February 17, Ambassador Nguyen Tien Phong emphasized the meaning of the Vietnamese traditional Tet holiday.
He said that under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, with the efforts of the entire nation, including significant contributions of Vietnamese people abroad, which include the Vietnamese community in Pakistan, Vietnam has made great achievements in all fields.
Vietnam has affirmed its image and position as an independent, self-reliant, dynamically developing country, a loyal and sincere friend, a reliable partner, and an active and responsible member of the international community; a country of peace, friendship, cooperation and development; a beautiful, safe, friendly and hospitable destination, he said.
The Ambassador affirmed that Vietnamese people abroad are an inseparable part of the Fatherland, always in the hearts and emotions of the country and people of Vietnam.
The diplomat extended New Year wishes to the Vietnamese community in Pakistan, expressing his hope that the event, with peach blossoms, apricot blossoms and traditional dishes, Tet flavors would spread to all Vietnamese and Pakistani friends./.
