The Olympiad of Metropolises is an international team competition that is held annually in Moscow at the invitation of the Russian capital’s Mayor. Participants are between 14 and 18 years old and must be students living in the world’s largest metropolises.

The first Olympiad took place, drawing the participation of 22 teams from 18 different countries. The competition consists of a blitz-contest and two main rounds.

Last year saw Vietnam achieve impressive results in their first time participating in the fourth Olympiad of Metropolises, bagging three golds, three silvers, and two bronzes./.
