The destinations most favored by tourists during the holiday included the Temple of Literature (18,500 visitors), Hanoi Zoo (12,300 visitors), Thang Long Imperial Citadel (15,000 visitors), Ba Vi National Park (1,200 visitors), and Bao Son Paradise Park (1,700 visitors).

Earlier, due to the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic, many tourist areas and destinations in the city had stopped operation. Hot spots such as Hoa Lo Prison relic, the Temple of Literature, Duong Lam ancient village, Kim Ngan communal house at No. 42 Hang Bac street, and Hong Van craft village cancelled events and activities for the Lunar New Year.

All disease prevention instructions and regulations have been strictly observed, aiming to ensure the safety of tourists.

In a bid to promote local tourism, many lodging facilities slashed down their service prices with many attractive packages and menus. However, the outbreak of COVID-19 reappearing before the Lunar New Year holiday made the demand for traveling, business and conference drop sharply./.
