Vietnamese Ambassador to RoK: VKBIA becomes a friendship bridge

The Vietnam - Korea Business and Investment Association (VKBIA) organized a ceremony to launch VKBIA office in Vietnam on June 12th.

At the launching ceremony, Mr. Tran Hai Linh, member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and President of VKBIA, said that establishing the VKBIA office in Vietnam will create a bridge, focusing on connecting Vietnamese businesses and entrepreneurs to the Korean market and the international market. With the mission of spreading, connecting trade, technology and culture, VKBIA will continue to implement programs to connect and support Vietnamese and Korean businesses.

Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Korea (RoK) Nguyen Vu Tung said that, in spite of being established less than a year, VKBIA has created a great connection for Vietnamese businesses and entrepreneurs in RoK and vice versa. In addition to the mission of trade connection, VKBIA has become a friendship and cooperation bridge between the two countries, making an important contribution to the strategic cooperation goals of Vietnam and RoK.

According to Mr. Lee Jong Woo, Deputy General Director of Posco E&C, VKBIA has created a network connecting Korean businesses with the Vietnamese market. With investment strength in shipbuilding and steel, Posco wishes to become a strategic partner in long-term cooperation with VKBIA in the future to bring practical results in trade cooperation between the two countries.

On the same day, VKBIA signed a cooperation agreement with Dai Nam University to support students of the Faculty of Korean language to have opportunity to work at companies and groups in Vietnam or in RoK after they graduate./.
