Da Nang to host Routes Asia 2022 in June

Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee Le Trung Chinh has signed a Plan  on the organization of the Routes Asia 2022 with a capital of 15 billion VND (656,000 USD).

As the only route development event dedicated to the Asia Pacific, Routes Asia, held annually by Informa Routes, provides a platform for the region's airlines, airports, tourism authorities and aviation stakeholders to meet, share best practices and come together to develop network strategies and ensure future air service development across the Asia Pacific.

This year’s event is expected to introduce the central city’s image and potential to around 500 international participants.

Routes Asia 2022 offers the opportunity for Da Nang to call and connect airlines and international airports in order to soon restore the routes network and connect international routes after the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Besides, the event is expected to attract investment in areas such as: aviation infrastructure; aircraft maintenance and repair and human resources serving the aviation industry; tourism services; contributing to increasing the frequency of goods and services exchange between Da Nang and partner cities in Asia, and attracting and increasing FDI capital from foreign investors.

Routes Asia 2022 comprises 19 activities and events, with three held by Informa Routes and the remaining by the Vietnamese city./.
