Vietnam - Cambodia Entrepreneur Friendship Branch launched

Speaking at the event, Chairwoman of the Women's Union cum Chairwoman of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association’s chapter in Hanoi Le Kim Anh emphasized that Vietnam and Cambodia are two close neighbors and have a traditional, long-standing relationship. This relationship has been cultivated by generations of leaders and people of the two countries with the efforts and blood of many generations of Vietnamese and Cambodians.

The Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association’s chapter in Hanoi currently has 11 branches, with nearly 1,700 members. For many years, the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association’s chapter in Hanoi has organized people's diplomatic activities; strengthened communications to raise understanding  among members of chapters, women and people in the Capital about the Vietnam- Cambodia traditional friendship, the foreign policy of the Party and the State; and organized practical activities to encourage Cambodian students in Hanoi, contributing to the friendship incubation program, strengthening the connection between Vietnam - Cambodia generations.

At the launching program, the Vietnam - Cambodia Entrepreneur Friendship Branch in Hanoi has 33 members, who wish to connect and develop the Vietnam - Cambodia trade relations. On the same day, the meeting of the Vietnam - Cambodia Entrepreneur Friendship Branch in Hanoi for the 2022-2027 term took place.

Ms. Le Kim Anh suggested that the Executive Committee of the Branch and its members promote communications to raise members' understanding of the traditional friendship between the two countries, the country and people of Cambodia; bilateral cooperation agreements between the two countries, the provisions of the two countries' laws related to investment, economic development, import and export.

At the same time, the branch strengthens member connections, exploits channels to support trade promotion and goods exchange with Cambodia, and connects with Cambodian businesses, in order to introduce and promote high quality products and services, contributing to economic development./.
