The UK’s new Daily Mail has announced the Top 10 most eco-friendly hot spots around the world, in which Vietnam ranked 10th.
The news said the Mekong river cruise might be one of the most popular ways to explore Vietnam, and the country has great potential for eco-tourism development.
It has protected national parks, incredible coral reefs and one of the largest lagoons in the world.
Daily Mail advised travellers to consider a destination that is eco-friendly so they can explore while understanding that their presence is not contributing to ruining the environment or local culture.
The remaining eco-friendly destinations are Costa Rica, Galapagos islands, Borneo (Malaysia), Peru, Patagonia, Bhutan, Slovenia, Botswana and Zambia, and New Zealand./.
