Northern district creates jobs for 1,600 labourers

Since the beginning of the year, Hai Ha district of the northern province of Quang Ninh has created jobs for 1,600 labourers, exceeding by 23% the year’s target, the district Department of Labour, War-Invalids and Social Affairs reported.

Of which, 480 labourers got jobs in the agricultural, forestry and fisheries sectors, 750 labourers in the industrial and construction sectors and 550 labourers in the trade and service sectors.

In the upcoming time, the district will focus on disseminating labour and employment policies, while increasing study about the demand for jobs, opening vocational training courses, and encouraging enterprises to offer vocational training and create jobs for labourers./.
