Taking to heart Uncle Ho's teaching “Emulation is patriotic, those that are patriotic must emulate. And those who emulate are the most patriotic ones” and promoting the tradition of "Determined to Brave Death for the Survival of the Fatherland" of the Capital's Armed Forces, over the past five years, the Party Committee of Hanoi Capital High Command has well led, directed and implemented the emulation movement to win in the army, the patriotic emulation movement and the "good people, good deeds" movement of Hanoi city. The unit has excellently completed all assigned tasks, becoming an outstanding example of Hanoi city and the entire army.
Reporting to beloved Uncle Ho at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Tran Ngoc Tuan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Hanoi Capital High Command, said that over the past five years, over 16,000 medals and orders have been awarded to collectives and individuals ; 112 collectives have been awarded Emulation Flags by the government, the Ministry of National Defense, the Hanoi People's Committee and the Hanoi Capital High Command; nearly 300 units awarded “Determined-to-Win” title; 19 individuals awarded “All-Army Emulation Soldier” title, nearly 1,600 awarded "Grassroots Emulation Soldier” title and over 26,000 collectives and individuals have been commended at all levels.
Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, on behalf of the delegation, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Thuy, promised to be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the People; improve revolutionary vigilance, sharpen the will to fight; self-cultivation, study and training of revolutionary ethics of diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality and selflessness; repelling degradation in political ideology, lifestyle ethics, "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the unit. Building a clean and strong Party organization, a comprehensively strong Capital Armed Forces, strong and excellent mass organizations; worthy of the trust and love of the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Party Committee at all levels, the government and the people of the Capital, contributing to building the Capital Armed Forces with comprehensive quality and high combat strength, meeting the requirements of building and defending the Fatherland and defending the capital in the new situation./.
