Hanoi delegation offers flowers at President Ho Chi Minh Monument

A Hanoi delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong on August 23 offered flowers at President Ho Chi Minh Monument at Nguyen Hue Walking Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

This is the opening activity for the series of activities “Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City”, taking place from August 23 - 24 at many locations in Ho Chi Minh City.

After offering flowers, the delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, Hero of National Liberation and World Cultural Celebrity.

On the same morning, the delegation of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City visited the Ho Chi Minh Museum on Nha Rong Wharf, respectfully offered incense and flowers to President Ho Chi Minh, expressing their deep gratitude for his merits and selfless sacrifice for the people and the country.

Before his spirit, the delegates vowed to strive to learn from Uncle Ho's example to build Vietnam to become more prosperous and happy.

After the incense and flower offering ceremony to President Ho Chi Minh, the delegates visited the exhibition named: "Names, pennames and aliases of President Ho Chi Minh"./.
