Hanoi to spend 6.1 billion VND to present gifts to people with meritorious services to revolution on National Day

Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi Municipal People's Committee Vu Thu Ha has just signed and issued Plan No. 235/KH-UBND on giving gifts to policy beneficiaries who are people with meritorious services to the revolutionary on the occasion of the 79th National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).

Accordingly, the city will present 2,891 gifts, with a total budget of 6,120,000,000 VND. Of which, gifts worth 2 million VND/gift in cash will be given to people who participated in revolutionary activities before January 1, 1945; people who participated in revolutionary activities from January 1, 1945 to the uprising day in August 1945; people who participated in revolutionary activities and resistance activities and were imprisoned or exiled by the enemy.
For typical units and individuals, the city authorizes the leaders of Ha Dong, Gia Lam, Quoc Oai, Chuong My, Phuc Tho, Dong Anh and Ung Hoa districts to visit and present gifts to collectives with revolutionary bases. The gift is 16,000,000 VND/unit. The city also authorizes the leaders of the People's Committees of districts and towns to visit and present gifts to 60 families of outstanding people with meritorious services to the revolution on the occasion of the National Day.
The Hanoi People's Committee assigns the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts and towns to guide, deploy and organize the implementation of the Plan./.
