In a report at the ceremony, Nguyen Phuoc Dung, a member of the Standing Committee of the Nha Be District Federation of Labour, shared that the establishment of the "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" and the study of the life and career of President Ton Duc Thang at the Hiep Phuoc Industrial Zone worker accommodation consists of three main sections.
Section 1 features the display of images, documents, books, articles, speeches, and models related to the revolutionary life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, including his relationship with trade unions and workers. Section 2 showcases images, documents, books, articles, and speeches about the life and revolutionary career of President Ton Duc Thang, focusing on his connection to trade unions and workers. Section 3 presents works about President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang, along with legal documents relevant to trade union members and workers.
According to Nguyen Phuoc Dung, the launch aims to deeply spread Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, lifestyle, and morals to trade union members and workers. It also sets the goal for this space to serve as a regular, beneficial venue for trade union activities, education, and gatherings for union members and workers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Thai Thanh, Vice President of the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City's Export Processing and Industrial Zones, stated that the launch of the "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" and the study of President Ton Duc Thang’s life and career at the Hiep Phuoc worker accommodation is part of the effective implementation of Politburo Conclusion 01 on continuing to study and follow Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morals, and lifestyle. It also contributes to building a Ho Chi Minh cultural space within the city's trade union system. Through this initiative, it aims to spread the positive values of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, as well as learning about the life and career of President Ton Duc Thang among union members and workers.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City's Export Processing and Industrial Zones and the Nha Be District Federation of Labour presented sports equipment and other physical materials to workers at the accommodation. They also distributed gifts to workers residing there./.
