Seventy years ago, after successfully ending the resistance war against the French colonialists, on his way to take over the capital Hanoi, President Ho Chi Minh visited Hung Kings Temple and burned incense to show gratitude to his ancestors.
Here, he met and talked with cadres and soldiers of the Vanguard Army Brigade. He advised: “The Hung Kings had the merit of building the country - We must work together to protect the country.”
His advice, though simple, is a shining truth, expressing respect and gratitude for the Hung Kings’ and our ancestors’ contributions to building and protecting the country, demonstrating the nation's solidarity in building and defending the Fatherland and the country.
At the event, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho provincial Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai and delegates offered flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of the Vietnamese people, the national liberation hero and a world cultural celebrity.
On the 70-year journey of implementing Uncle Ho's advice, together with the people and soldiers of the whole country, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Phu Tho have always been united to overcome all difficulties and challenges, making great contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
In the cause of national construction, the Party Committee and people of Phu Tho continue to uphold patriotism, revolutionary heroism, strive to overcome difficulties and work creatively to create important changes in all fields.
From a poor province, so far, Phu Tho’s economy has always maintained a growth rate higher than the national average. The province has basically escaped poverty, and the lives of the people of all ethnic groups in the province have increasingly improved. /.
