Vietnam Military Medical University reports achievements to Uncle Ho

The delegation of Vietnam Military Medical University attending the “Determined-to-win” emulation congresses in the 2019-2024 period has reported achievements to Uncle Ho at Ba Dinh Square and visited President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum.

At the ceremony, the advanced models in the university’s determined-to-win emulation movement were awarded the Uncle Ho Badge.

On behalf of the delegation, Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Nam, Deputy Political Commissar of the Vietnam Military Medical University, reported to Uncle Ho the university’s outstanding achievements over the past five years.

Over the past five years, the university synchronously and comprehensively deployed the Emulation - Reward work and the determined-to-win emulation movement; contributing to the successful completion of assigned tasks, leaving outstanding marks in various fields of work, becoming a bright spot for the entire army and the whole country.

The university has implemented many synchronous and effective measures to improve the quality of training, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation. In 2019-2024, it trained 1,799 university students and 1,503 postgraduate students. After graduation, the students met the prescribed output standards, meeting the combat readiness tasks of the army, human resources for the health sector and the armies of the two neighboring countries of Laos and Cambodia. 

The university has also focused on promoting scientific research activities, deeply and widely implementing research tasks in each agency, unit and research group.

In addition, the university has completed the training plan for Level 2 Field Hospitals to participate in the United Nations peacekeeping force. Of which, Level 2 Field Hospital No. 4 has successfully completed its mission in South Sudan and has just handed over Level 2 Field Hospital No. 6 to the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department according to the plan of the Ministry of National Defense.

With its achievements in 2019-2024, the university has nearly 750 collectives and 8,430 individuals being commended at all levels. 

At the ceremony, the university recognized and commended 28 collectives and 77 typical advanced individuals with outstanding and typical achievements in implementing the determined-to-win emulation movement in the 2019-2024 period./.
