Commemorating President Ho Chi Minh in his homeland

Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Commission on Organization, together with a working delegation and Nghe An provincial leaders, on June 15th burnt incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and plant a tree at the Kim Lien Relic in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district – Uncle Ho’s hometown.

At the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, Mr. Chinh and the delegation members showed their respect and boundless gratitude towards the great credit by President Ho Chi Minh, the talented leader of the Vietnamese Party and people, the eminent activist of the communists’ and international workers’ movements, the hero of national liberation, and the world cultural celebrity.

They pledged to do their utmost to realise Uncle Ho’s will, and continue to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style, in order to build up a developed, strong and rich Vietnam.

During the trip, Mr. Chinh visited and gave presents to Vietnamese heroic mother Phan Thi Hoa, outstanding religious follower Tran Luc’s family and wounded soldier Nguyen Van Nha in Nam Dan district.

On the same day, Mr. Chinh burnt incense and planted trees at the Truong Bon Relic in Do Luong district to commemorate martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the national liberation and unification./.
