On August 8th, at the book street in Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City Photographers’ Association held an award ceremony of the “Vietnam from above” photo contest under the theme”Pride of Vietnam Frontier”.
The first prize belongs to photographer Nguyen Tan Tuan from Ho Chi Minh City for his picture capturing Ban Gioc waterfall in Cao Bang province.
Photographer Tuan took the photo on December 1st, 2018 when he joined his colleagues on a 2,000-km trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Cao Bang province.
The organizing board also presented one second, three third and 10 consolation prizes to some of the best entries.
The photo contest received nearly 4,000 entries by 261 professional and amateur photographers across the country.
