Diverse activities on Vietnam Family Day in Hanoi

Especially, there is an exhibition to higlight the cultural traditions of Vietnamese families that have been passed down for generations; honour the role of the women and mothers in families; demonstrate love and affection between parents and children through pictures, letters and messages; and introduce books for children, students and families.

Other highlights include a drawing contest and a fair on traditional handcrafted products.

Activities aim to honour the traditional values of Vietnamese families, raising awareness about the role, position and the importance of the Party’s guidelines and State policies on families in the context of industrialisation and modernisation.

The event has drawn the participation of localities, Hanoi, the northern port city of Hai Phong, the northern province of Thai Binh, and the Central Highlands provinces of Lam Dong and Dak Lak./.
