The book by The gioi Publisher reflects many aspects of life and culture among ethnic minority groups in the Central Highlands, thus helps readers understand more about the traditional cultures.

The over 260-page book is in 16x21 cm size with with 475 photos on 11 ethnic groups in the Central Highlands: Bana, Brau, Churu, Coho, Ede, Giarai, Gie - Trieng, Ma, Mnong, Romam and Xodang.

Among the 17 photographers, most of them have spent much time carrying out research on the Central Highlands in different fields. There are also several material photos in both colour and black and white prints with clear caption, including address, shooting time and photographer.

Along with the photos, the book also contains written overviews on Highlanders and traditional cultures and each ethnic group.  All aim to provide readers information on the culture and life of ethnic minority groups in the Central Highlands in diversified materials.

It was released after photo books on Central Highlands tombs by Nguyen Van Ku and Luu Hung were published in 2003 and the Central Highlands Communal House in 2017./.
