The event was attended by more than 200 enterprises, co-operatives, and producers of the capital and other localities.

As reported, in recent years, Hanoi developed specialized agricultural production areas such as high-quality rice cultivation areas in My Duc, Ung Hoa and Phu Xuyen districts; safe vegetable production areas in Dong Anh, Thanh Tri, and Phuc Tho districts; fruit plantation areas in Dan Phuong, Hoai Duc, Thanh Oai districts; and livestock and poultry breeding areas in Chuong My, Thanh Oai and Me Linh districts.

So far, it has had 907 agricultural co-operatives, including 863 for agricultural service, 11 for breeding, 7 for seafood, and 26 for vegetable, fruits and mushroom plantation. In addition, the city has built and developed 65 food safety link chains from production to consumption.

At the event, participants discussed difficulties in production and consumption of goods to promote connection and seek solutions to support product consumption, especially agricultural products meeting problems in finding stable output such as supermarkets, markets, school kitchens, industrial parks and processing areas.

In addition, the conference also called upon agricultural product processors to research investment in building preliminary processing plants in large material areas in order to enhance the value of agricultural products.

Via 30 booths, the organizers prioritize selection of safe and organic products with full information on production units and VietGap and GlobalGap standards./.
