Nghe An province pours nearly VND56 billion to build embankment for ships

The project of constructing the embankment for ships at Lach Que Port was approved by Nghe An provincial People's Committee, with a total investment of VND55.8 billion.

The project has many items such as: a 1.2km long embankment linking Hau bridge to the embankment No.3 at fishing port in Tien Thuy commune; building a 6m-wide road; and works on the route with 56 moorings to anchor vessels, and dredging area for ships to anchor.

Currently, the project has installed 0.6km of sewer, 500m embankment, and building 200m frame girder on river-side.

The construction of an additional new storm protection work will reduce the load for Lach Quen port, creating favorable conditions for fishermen to bring seafood to the shore  more quickly and conveniently./.
