Carnaval festival suspended during Ha Long – Quang Ninh Tourism Week

Carnaval festival, a special tourism product which has been part of the Ha Long – Quag Ninh Tourism Week for 10 consecutive years, will be suspended in 2017, to well prepare for 2018 National Tourism Year in Quang Ninh.

This information was released by Mr. Trinh Dang Thanh, Deputy Director of the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, in a press conference held on April 17th to launch the 2017 Ha Long – Quang Ninh Tourism Week.

According to the organizers, the annual event with the highlight of “Colourful Ha Long” which replaces Ha Long Canarval, will take place from April 28th to May 7th in Ha Long and Mong Cai cities.

The event includes a series of cultural, sporting and tourism activities: 2017 Mong Cai tourism week, a walking street festival, a cuisine street festival, an international beach volleyball competition, and a tennis tournament.

In the framework of Quang Ninh-Ha Long Tourism Week 2017, a wide range of events will be held, including Soong Co singing festival in Binh Lieu district, badminton tournament in Dong Trieu Town, and the second Culture-Sport-Tourism week in Co To Island district./.
