The Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee has issued a decision recognizing Van Chay in Co To district as a standard beach. The decision is effective for five years.

The organ asked relevant units to be responsible for following regulations for tourism beaches in Quang Ninh.
So far, the northern locality has 12 beaches recognized as standard ones. Of this, Ha Long has five: Ocean Park, Tuan Chau, Marine Plaza, Soi Sim, and Titov, while others include Quang Hong, Luong Ngoc in Cam Pha city; Tra Co in Mong Cai city; Mai Quyen and Son Hao in Van Don district; and Dragon Head (Dau Rong) in Hai Ha district.
The recognition of beaches showed the efforts of Quang Ninh’s functional organs in standardizing, improving the quality and criteria of beaches to serve tourists.
As regulated, to win the recognition, beaches must meet requirements concerning traffic convenience, electrical system, fresh water, bath room, fine and thick sand; and ensure safety and criteria about rescue./.
