(CPV) - A plan has been signed by Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Chu Ngoc Anh on implementing key tasks and solutions for boosting socio-economic development and ensuring national defence and security in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Under the plan, the city will focus on firmly implementing socio-economic development solutions to ensure gross regional product growth (GRDP) in 2020 of 4% to 4.5%. Additionally, it will strictly follow the situation of COVID-19 development to apply appropriate preventive measures; and urge the implementation of the 2020 targets in the fields of culture, society, urban areas, and environment.
Another important task is to maintain political security in all situations; ensure social order and safety and absolute security and safety for political, cultural and social events, especially during the 13th National Party Congress.
In order to well implement the above plan, the city People's Committee has set out 16 groups of specific tasks for each field in terms of institutions, mechanisms, policies, planning, state budget revenues and expenditures.
In particular, Party organizations, authorities and agencies will be responsible for realizing the plan with specific progress and results, while completing the socio-economic development plan and budget estimate for 2021, and the socio-economic development plan and public investment plan in the 2021-2025 period./.
