Hanoi supports three provinces affected by floods with VND10 billion

In recent days, prolonged heavy rains in the provinces of Ha Giang, Son La and Dien Bien have caused landslides and flooding in many residential areas, resulting in loss of life and property. Demonstrating the spirit of "Mutual affection and love" and "Hanoi for the whole country, together with the whole country," the city has supported these three provinces with VND10 billion to help overcome the consequences of the floods.

On August 7, on behalf of the Hanoi Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi, Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, and Head of the Hanoi National Assembly delegation, sent a letter of sincere condolences and deep sympathy to all the officers, soldiers and people of Ha Giang, Son La and Dien Bien provinces, especially those in areas affected by the floods.
She emphasized that the Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi believe that with the care of the Party and State, the solidarity and support from provinces and cities nationwide, and the strong will and responsibility of the officers, soldiers, and people, these provinces will overcome difficulties, quickly recover from the consequences, and stabilize their lives.
Accordingly, Hanoi have donated VND2 billion to Ha Giang province, VND5 billion to Son La, and VND3 billion to Dien Bien to help overcome the consequences of the floods and share the difficulties faced by the Party committees, authorities and people of these provinces./.
