Speaking at the event, Chairwoman of the VFF’s Hanoi committee Nguyen Lan Huong showed her gratitude to agencies, organizations, businesses and philanthropists for their contributions to the fight against the COVID-19.
She committed that all donations will be transferred to the frontline forces, including medical staff, police officers and army men.
She emphasized that the pandemic situation is still complicated and unpredictable and called upon businesses, organization and individuals to continue supporting the fight by contributing money, necessary materials and ideas, making contributions to stamping out the pandemic.
All donations should be sent to the headquarters of the VFF’s Hanoi committee at 29 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
Agencies, organizations and individuals can also donate through the relief fund run by the VFF’s Hanoi committee to the bank account: 37610905726091049 at the State Bank of Hanoi, or Account number: 1500201113838 at the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development - Hanoi branch.
At the cereiving event, the VFF’s Hanoi Committee handed over 2,000 quick test kits to the Hanoi Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC), and 1,000 quick test kits to the Hanoi Oncology Hospital, total worth VND735 million.
Since January 1, 2021, the VFF’s Hanoi committee has received donations of over VND43.1 billion for the fight against COVID-19. The sum includes over VN39.1 billion in cash and over VND3.6 billion in kind.
Meanwhile, the committee has presented the donations worth over VND7.5 billion in cash and in kind to the frontline forces against the novel coronavirus./.
