Embassy in Iran promotes Vietnamese culture and cuisine

The World Gastronomy culinary promotion festival within the series of activities of the Francophone Community in Tehran, has been successfully held at the campus of the French Embassy in Iran.

The event was attended by five member countries of France, Vietnam, Lebanon, Senegal and Switzerland; two observer countries of Argentina and Mexico, and more than 300 guests from the diplomatic corps and influential individuals in the field of local culture and arts.

At the event, the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran introduced traditional Vietnamese dishes such as noodle soup (Pho), spring rolls and rice dumpling cake, while promoting a number of handicraft products and the traditional long dress of Vietnam.

Vietnam's booth attracted the attention of delegates and guests attending the festival. Many members of the diplomatic corps and Iranian guests expressed their interest and continuously praised Vietnamese dishes for being delicious, unique, beautifully presented and showing simplicity and tradition in each dish.

This festival is an opportunity for embassies in the Francophone bloc to enhance cultural exchanges and mutual understanding.
