The Truong Sa Club in Hungary recently organized a meeting to mark its one-year anniversary.

At the event, the members of the club recalled the memories of their trips to Truong Sa held by the State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese (OV) Affairs and the Vietnam People’s Navy.
Since 2014, over 20 overseas Vietnamese from Hungary have joined in Truong Sa trip
In the latest trip, two overseas Vietnamese in Hungary handed over 3,000 EUR (over 3,200 USD) to “the whole nation for Truong Sa” program.
Over the past year, the club has made practical contributions to spreading the love for the homeland’s sea and islands among the Vietnamese community, while calling for donations for the “the whole nation for Truong Sa” program.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Bich Thao highly appreciated the club’s significant activities.
She expressed her hope that the club will increase its membership in the coming time, enhance solidarity and have more practical activities that contributes to protecting and developing the nation’s sea and islands./.
