Business Director of Sunway Group Vincent Gooi said that participating in the service package of Sunway Medical Centre, the Vietnamese community in Malaysia will receive useful advice from a team of highly qualified doctors specialized in the field of comprehensive health care, through which customers can understand test results and proactively take the next care and treatment steps for better health.

Sunway Medical Centre is Malaysia's largest private hospital with more than 700 beds and more than 60 departments. The facility has been named among the top 250 hospitals in the world in Newsweek's 2024 World's Best Hospitals rankings.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai, an overseas Vietnamese living in Malaysia for 12 years, affirmed that the association has always taken care of the health and spiritual life of overseas Vietnamese through organizing many practical programs such as COVID-19 vaccination, charity programs, legal consultancy and spring festival or full moon festival.

The Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association was licensed to operate by the Malaysian government in March 2022. According to statistics, there are more than 30,000 Vietnamese people living, studying and working in Malaysia.

The Vietnamese community here has made important contributions to the local economy, connecting and supporting each other, preserving Vietnamese culture and participating in community and social activities./.
