The work coordination plan includes dissemination and legal support activities organized by the SCOV and the Hanoi Bar Association to promptly disseminate, provide information and answer questions about Vietnamese law as well as legal regulations of some countries and territories for overseas Vietnamese; consulting on a number of legal fields that concern overseas Vietnamese (OV).

Law dissemination and response programs will be held periodically in both face-to-face and online formats until the end of 2024, contributing to guiding OVs to properly implement their rights and obligations in Vietnamese law, as well as raising awareness of compliance with legal regulations in host countries.

At the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the SCOV Nguyen Manh Dong highly appreciated the coordination work of the Hanoi Bar Association and believed that with its strength in professional work, the Hanoi Bar Association would actively support the SCOV in disseminating and educating the law for OVs.

The SCOV has recently coordinated with the Hanoi Bar Association to organize a Legal Support Workshop for OVs, posting a list of lawyers participating in support on the SCOV's website.

The Hanoi Bar Association also actively participated in the conference to disseminate content related to Vietnamese people residing abroad in the Land Law, Housing Law and Real Estate Business Law organized by the SCOV on March 26.

This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the responsibility of the Party and State in creating favorable conditions for OVs to return home to visit their relatives, invest and do business.

These activities aim to realize the Party and State's policy of caring for and supporting OVs to have a solid legal status, comply with the law and integrate smoothly into the host society, while increasing connections among overseas Vietnamese communities.

According to the signed plan, the SCOV will coordinate with the Hanoi Bar Association to organize a program to disseminate and answer questions about the law on June 27 with the theme "Vietnam's Land Law 2024, conditions to own house and land in the UK".

The following programs will provide information and answer questions about Vietnamese laws related to OVs in areas such as housing, residence, investment, real estate business and the legal regulations of nations and territories that OVs are interested in./.
