Speaking at the ceremony, Moroccan Ambassador to Vietnam Jamale Chouaibi affirmed that the Royal Medal, Commander class, is a noble title that Morocco's King Mohammed VI awarded to Ambassador Dang Thi Thu Ha for her outstanding contributions during her term as Vietnamese Ambassador to Morocco from 2020-2023.
This is recognition and high appreciation of the important role of Ambassador Dang Thi Thu Ha in the 2020-2023 term to promote close and friendly relationships in the fields of economics, politics and culture between the two countries, which have many similarities in history, strong political will, working towards the goal of strengthening South-South cooperation, as well as common goals in the future.
According to Ambassador Jamale Chouaibi, one of Ambassador Dang Thi Thu Ha's proud achievements which will become a legacy for future generations is the inauguration of "Vietnam Gate in Morocco" on November 24, 2022 in Douar Sfari village in Kenitra province. This work aims to preserve and promote Vietnam-Morocco history. It reminds people of the past of common struggles and sacrifices for the liberation of the two peoples.
Ambassador Jamale Chouaibi congratulated Ambassador Dang Thi Thu Ha and hoped that she would continue to achieve many successes in her work, while continuing to make valuable contributions to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
For her part, Ambassador Dang Thi Thu Ha expressed her honor and pride at being awarded the noble Moroccan Royal Medal.
Recalling her term as Vietnamese Ambassador to Morocco, Ambassador Dang Thi Thu Ha shared many beautiful memories, from the impression of the friendliness and hospitality of the Moroccan people when she first arrived at Fes airport, to the two nights of cultural performance by a Vietnamese artist troupe, or the atmosphere celebrating the victory of the Morocco national football team at the World Cup 2022.
Ambassador Dang Thi Thu Ha expressed her honor and luck to work in a beautiful country with kind people like Morocco and affirmed that her term of office would not be successful without support from Moroccan agencies and ministries.
Ambassador Dang Thi Thu Ha emphasized that the noble Royal Medal awarded by the King of Morocco is not only a great privilege for herself, but also a proof of the long-term friendship between Vietnam and Morocco. This is also recognition for the efforts of each individual, group, and organization that have contributed to expanding and deepening the relationship between the two countries which are distant in geography but close in will./.
