The total amount of donation is 50 million VND, contributing to serving the travel needs of the people, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the border area of Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tu Nghia Duc, Charge d'Affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy in Mongolia, highly appreciated the activities of the Vietnamese Businessmen Association in Mongolia, especially its proposals in implementing charity activities.
He respectfully thanked the Vietnamese Businessmen Association in Mongolia for their kind hearts and noble gestures towards Cao Bang, demonstrating the tradition of "Drinking water, remember the source", the tradition of solidarity, noble gesture and patriotism, always looking towards the Fatherland of overseas Vietnamese.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Tuan, Member of the Executive Board of the BAOOV, Chairman of the Vietnamese Businessmen Association in Mongolia, said that along with promoting trade and service activities among members, community, as a bridge to promote economic, trade and investment exchanges between Vietnam and Mongolia, the Vietnamese Businessmen Association in Mongolia always actively participates in volunteer activities with many practical activities.
In April 2024, the Vietnamese community donated and handed over 15,500,000 MNT (about 4,570 USD) to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) of Mongolia to help the country overcome the consequences of natural disasters caused by freezing weather and prolonged drought, causing great damage to people and property.
Currently, the Vietnamese community in Mongolia has about 600 people./.
