Vietnamese women in Europe support small businesses affected by fire in Poland

Responding to the call of the Vietnamese Women's Forum in Europe, Vietnamese women from 14 member countries of the forum in Europe organized donations to support small businesses severely affected in the fire at the Trade Centre at No. 44 Marywilska in Poland’s capital Warsaw, causing heavy damage to property.

According to Vietnam News Agency correspondents in Europe, on behalf of the Vietnamese Women's Forum in Europe, Ms. Trinh Thi Mui, Vice President of the Vietnamese Women's Forum in Europe and President of the Vietnamese Women's Association in Germany presented a sum of 7,500 EUR to Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Poland and some its members in Warsaw on June 16.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Vice President of the forum Trinh Thi Mui said that on May 12, when the Vietnamese Women's Forum in Europe was in Madrid (Spain) to attend the Global Woman Summit, they heard about the fire that caused great material damage, seriously affecting the lives of the Vietnamese community in Poland. The forum has issued a call for Vietnamese women throughout Europe to donate and join hands to support the fire victims in Poland.

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan thanked the overseas Vietnamese women in Europe for the donation and pledged that the association would transfer the sentiment and all donations to families in need of support./.
