An exhibition entitled “Agent Orange – Consciousness and Justice” was held in the northern province of Quang Ninh on July 21st as an important activity marking the 54th year of the Agent Orange catastrophe in Vietnam and the Day for AO victims (August 10th).

The exhibition, which will last until August 14th, aims to increase the awareness of domestic classes of people, overseas Vietnamese and international friends about the AO catastrophe in Vietnam, encouraging solidarity in supporting AO victims’ struggle for justice, and mobilising social resources to care for the victims.

In addition, the Vietnamese Party, State and people’s efforts in dealing with the consequences of the chemical warfare will also be highlighted during the exhibition.

At the opening ceremony, the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange (VAVA) Central Committee granted 10 wheelchairs, 20 presents and VND100 million in support of production for AO victims in Ha Long city.
