Quang Ninh seizes over 1,000 illegally imported cosmetic products

On July 31st, the customs staff discovered that some people were gathering smuggled goods in Hai Hoa ward, Mong Cai city.

When about to be discovered, they fled by motorbikes. The customs force pursued them but failed due to the heavy rain, dark and difficult terrain.

The authorities checked and seized 16 boxes containing 1,015 cosmetic products including shampoo, hair dying glue, hair steaming oil and body lotions produced by foreign countries. The total worth of the goods is about VND60 million.

The goods were seized for further investigation./.
