On September 19th, Mr. Nguyen Lam An, Director of Sun World Ba Na Hills, said that after the pandemic in Da Nang was basically controlled, the resort received approval of the city government to greet tourists from 08h00 to 17h00 every day.
Mr. An also said that to prepare for welcoming tourists, disinfection at the resort has been carried out strictly and comprehensively. Antiseptic hand sanitizer and temperature checking equipment have been fully prepared so that staff and tourists can be maximally protected.
Distancing will be implemented strictly when tourists line up to buy tickets and during the journey by cable car or mountain train.
Together with Ba Na Hills, some tourist attractions in the central city began opening to welcome tourists. From September 19, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula greeted the first tourists after a period of isolation with strict safety measures.
Earlier, due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, the Steering Committee for the prevention of COVID-19 asked the Da Nang Department of Tourism to work with tourism businesses, accommodation establishments, transporters and services providers to suspend welcoming travelers from July 26 to avoid the pandemic spreading to the community./.
