After more than 6 months of implementing Project 06, Ho Chi Minh City has had initial results, notably the preparation of realizing an information system to handle administrative procedures. The system is expected to be completed in October 2022.

The move aims to improve the quality of handling administrative procedures, provide online public services and implement Project 06. The system operates on the principle of not requiring people to re-declare information already in the national database on population. Each citizen only uses one unified identity account to access online public services.

The system will provide 100% online public services at level 3, level 4 with qualified administrative procedures. In which, 403 online public services at level 3 and level 4 are eligible for the southern hub; 25 essential public services are under Project 06.

With this system, Ho Chi Minh City ensures that 100% of administrative procedures (1,733 procedures) will be established on an electronic door, so that departments, agencies, districts, Thu Duc City, wards, communes and towns can continue to receive and process people’s records.

Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Duong Anh Duc said that the implementation of this system is both a political task under Project 06 and a top task to improve the quality of administrative reform, associated with digital transformation./.
