Hoa Binh continues to export 18 tons of fresh sugarcane to the US

After exporting the first batch of 20 tons of fresh sugarcane on March 19 to the US, Hoa Binh's agricultural industry continued to promote its initial success, creating a premise for many other agricultural products to expand into the international market.

Hoa Binh province is a land with many typical agricultural products, including fresh long-standing sugarcane varieties with good quality and suitable for eating or  squeezing for juice. Along with that, the suitability of soil and climate has made Hoa Binh sugarcane famous all over the provinces and cities for many years. In particular, in recent years, the agricultural sector of Hoa Binh province has made continuous efforts to bring agricultural products for export to the international market, including fresh sugarcane.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Tai, Head of the Sub-Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Quality Management of Hoa Binh province, said that sugarcane is a crop with great export potential. It is also an industrial crop that is very suitable for climate and soil conditions of Hoa Binh province, and can develop and expand business to bring high economic efficiency.

Mr. Nguyen Le Diep, Director of Tien Ngan Trade Investment Co., Ltd. said that in the past time, the company has focused on developing the material areas and infrastructure to further increase the quality of sugarcane for export. This year, it is expected to export about 300-500 tons of sugarcane to the world market./.
