Iranian businesses to be supported to connect with Vietnamese partners

Vietnamese Ambassador to Iran Luong Quoc Huy recently attended the Iran International Food and Agriculture Exhibition 2023 (Agofood) taking place from June 16-19 and visited the exhibition booth of the National Iranian Date Association.

This is an annual event held to connect cooperation and business opportunities between agricultural and food businesses under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture of Iran.
The National Date Association of Iran is one of the largest business associations in the country, operating under the management of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine and Agriculture (ICCIMA).
At the exhibition, Ambassador Huy was invited to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the booths of date manufacturing enterprises.
The exhibition area of the National Date Association of Iran is one of the largest in Agrofood, with more than 40 businesses under the Association participating in promoting business and exporting opportunities of date products.
Talking to the Ambassador, Mr. Mohsen Rashid Farrokhi, Director of National Date Association of Iran, expressed his wish that the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran would support Iranian date enterprises to find partners to export dates to Vietnam.
Ambassador Luong Quoc Huy said that he is ready to support Iranian businesses to connect with Vietnamese partners./.
