Lam Son is the first secondary school in Da Lat to introduce such a model, following the pilot program at Tran Phu High School. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Hoang Thi Van Anh, Party Secretary and Principal of Lam Son Secondary School, shared that this heartfelt project is dedicated to the 55th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s Testament and celebrates the 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival and upcoming Party Congresses at all levels.
“This space preserves books, images and precious materials about President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career, providing teachers and students with a place to study and honor his thoughts, ethics and lifestyle,” Ms. Anh said.
The “Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space” at Lam Son is thoughtfully organized, offering convenient access to materials on Uncle Ho for both teachers and students. It includes areas dedicated to his family and hometown, his journey for national salvation, displays of books on his life and career, writings and poetry by Ho Chi Minh for children and those by children dedicated to him, as well as items he used. The display commemorates the 55th anniversary of his testament.
During the ceremony, the school awarded students who submitted excellent writings about President Ho Chi Minh and presented scholarships to underprivileged students who have excelled in their studies./.
