Over 1,000 ceramic products on display in Khanh Hoa province

More than 1,000 ceramic products from Bau Truc ceramic village in Ninh Phuoc district, the central province of Ninh Thuan, are on display at an exhibition which has opened in Khanh Hoa province.

As a part of the Khanh Hoa - Nha Trang Sea Festival 2017, the exhibition also introduces the culture of the Cham ethnic minority group, with demonstrations of brocade weaving, handicrafts and Cham folk dance for tourists.

According to Nguyen Van Thich, former vice head of the Khanh Hoa provincial preservation centre, prominent Cham culture – related architecture works in the locality are promoted and preserved effectively. 

The Ponagar Tower, a national historical and cultural relic site in the locality, attracts tens of thousand of believers and tourists for religious practice and holidays, as well as to study the specific culture of Cham ethnic groups.

The exhibition will run until June 13th.
