Each truck carries six internet-connected computers, one projector, 4,000 books, a television, teaching tools and some devices for sightless readers.

The project of mobile multimedia library trucks has been carried out by the Department of Library under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism since the end of 2015, with the support of Vingroup. So far, five trucks have been given to the northern province of Son Lai, central provinces of Nghe An and Quang Nam, the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai and the southern province of An Giang.

After one year, the mobile libraries have served 985,148 readers with more than 1.8 million books and newspaper. More than 30,000 people accessed to Internet and nearly 50,000 people enjoyed film screenings.

The project aims to promote providing information to the community in mountainous, remote and disadvantaged areas. It contributes to cultural enjoyment and reading culture development, creating better conditions for people, especially children, to approach information and knowledge./.
