Spring festival 2019 at Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism

Diverse cultural activities will take place during the Spring festival 2019 at the Vietnam National Village of Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Son Tay town, Hanoi from February 12th to 13th (the 8th to the 9th day of the first lunar month).

The festival will draw the participation of 200 heads of villages, intellectuals and artisans from 25 ethnic minority groups from 17 provinces and cities nationwide.
There will be arts performance on spring and ethnic people, reinstatement of traditional festivals of Ta Oi and Dao ethnic groups; exchanges with ethnic groups; folk games; introduction of traditional foods during Tet.
The event is an annual activity organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with a number of central committees, agencies and localities to honor cultural identity of Vietnamese people and contribute to strengthening the national unity bloc at the Village, bringing the traditional atmosphere of Vietnamese lunar New Year to tourists in the early days of Spring./.
