Studying French cuisine in Ho Chi Minh city

Nearly 2,500 French-style dinner dishes will be prepared at restaurants and French embassies in 150 countries throughout the world during the culinary event 2019 (Goût de France 2019) to take place on March 21st.

This is the fifth time the event has been conducted at the same time in many countries to introduce to the public in general, Vietnamese people in particular about French cuisine. French-style dinner in Vietnam will be done by professional chefs trained in France using ingredients from France and Vietnam and ensuring hygiene and food safety standards of high-class restaurants.
At the press briefing on the festival, Consul General of France in Ho Chi Minh city Vincent Floreani said that visitors will have an opportunity to discovery French cuisines in each of the different flavor characteristics and regions in France, from appetizers, main dishes, desserts to different types of drinks.
During the event, Ho Chi Minh city will host an activity to introduce French-style breakfast, a workshop on balanced and healthy diets, introduce French culinary training programs and screen movies featuring French and Vietnamese cuisine./.
