Five Vietnamese goods to be introduced at Thai show

(CPV) - Bun, pho; beverage; snacks; spices and fresh fruits are the Vietnamese products selected for the Vietnamese Goods Week in Thailand, scheduled from September 18th to 22nd.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai has worked with Central Group Thailand representative Jariya Chiathivat, Central Group Vietnam General Director Philippe Broianigo, and other key leaders of the group.

Ms. Jariya Chiathivat affirmed that the group not only commits effective business activities, but also wishes to contribute to all concerned parties, especially consumers and the surrounding communities where Central Group operates.

At the event, she also introduced the Vietnamese Goods Week in Thailand. Unlike the previous years, this year’s event will focus on promoting the image of the landscapes and people of Vietnam with many traditional cultural activities and cuisine show.

On the sidelines, the group will coordinate with the ministry to organize two workshops sharing real business experiences for Vietnamese suppliers to understand more about the standards and conditions for smooth exports to Thailand.

Deputy Minister Hai said Central Group now has a team of professional staff and effectively cooperates with units of the ministry in arranging programs to consume Vietnamese products as well as Vietnamese goods programs in Thailand.

He stressed that the ministry will create every favorable condition to assist foreign companies as well as Central Group to effectively operate in Vietnam./.
