The Dung Quat Oil Refinery Plant - Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical JSC (BSR) has been urged to focus on corporate communications.

The request was made by Vo Van Phuong, Party Central Committee (PCC) member and Standing Deputy Head of the PCC Commission on Popularization and Education during his working visit to BSR.
According to Tran Ngoc Nguyen, BSR General Director, in the first half of this year, BSR produced 3.57 million tons, consumed over 3.606 million tons, earning an estimated turnover of over VND55.359 trillion, contributing VND5.809 trillion to the State budget, and getting post-tax profit of VND2.947 trillion.
Notably, it contributed 20%-30% of post-tax profit to the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group.
The Dung Quat Oil Refinery Plant is now not only a driving force for economic development in the central region, but also a symbol of the modern Vietnamese industry. BSR has high quality human resources, as they master advanced technologies and are becoming international standard experts who can develop operation and maintenance services of the refining and petrochemical plants.
Talking with the central-level delegation, BSR representatives said that the company had done well communications on its business, equitization and scientific research. As a result, many articles, photos and videos produced by BSR have been posted in diverse local and central mass media.
During the visit, Mr. Phuong urged the company to do well communications work so that people can understand the sector’s difficulties and have accurateviewpoints on Vietnamese large businesses, especially newly-equitised businesses like BSR./.
