HCM city to participate in Ca Mau Cape Tourism and Culture Week

Ho Chi Minh (HCM) city will take part in Ca Mau Cape Tourism and Culture Week from December 10th to 15th in Ca Mau city and Ngoc Hien district, Ca Mau province.

During the event, the inauguration ceremony of the Hanoi flag tower at Ca Mau cape will be held to show the deep affection of Hanoi capital towards the land of Ca Mau cape, said director of Ca Mau provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Hieu Hung on October 2nd.

This will help strengthen the promotion and introduction to localities throughout the country and international friends about the potential and strengths of economic, cultural and tourism development of Ca Mau in the process of innovation and integration. .

The symbolic project of the Hanoi flag tower at Ca Mau cape started in January 2016 in Dat Mui commune, Ngoc Hien district.

The Hanoi flag tower is designed to simulate the architecture of the ancient Hanoi flag tower. It can resistant to storms and sea erosion.

This multi-purpose building is an area for serving festival performances, a ladder leading to the flag tower to serve tourists, and a display area for artifacts and historical documents.

A part from HCM city, this year’s culture and tourism week will draw the participation of Hanoi, the northern province of Ninh Binh and the Mekong Delta provinces, as well as international representatives.
