Noting that 2018 is the year Vietnam and Japan mark the 45th anniversary of their diplomatic relationship, Ms Thu expressed her hope that Osaka prefecture’s youth will have good memories in Ho Chi Minh city, adding she believed the two localities’ youth would contribute to the relationship between the two countries.
She also said she hoped the exchange between the two localities would be expanded to science and technology, practice of social skills, education and creativity, beside culture.
A representative from the delegation, Mr. Osamu Kitamoto, confirmed that over its 10 initial years, the relationship between Ho Chi Minh city and Osaka prefecture has developed in diverse areas, including economics, trade, investment, education and culture. With their interesting experience in Ho Chi Minh city, he expressed his belief that Osaka prefecture’s pupils, when returning home, would continue to be a bridge in the building of the two localities’ and two countries’ relationships./.
