(CPV) - The 2nd Vovinam World Championships 2018 is taking place from August 23rd-26th, promises to offer very exciting moments.

The event lures 279 competitors with 43 delegations from 29 nations/territories including France, Russia, India, Germany, Italy and Laos.
The organizing board (World Vovinam Federation and Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports) said that the sporting tour will be very exciting, demonstrating typical Vietnamese culture, connecting corners of the world, as well as a good chance for Vietnam to promote the beauty of the Vietnamese traditional martial art to international friends.
Through the tour, the World Vovinam Federation hopes to develop the Federation in the continental levels, thus cultivating Vietnam traditional martial art more and more.
The Hanoi’s My Dinh Indoor Athletics Gymnasium hosts the tour./.
