(CPV) - The Asian U23 Fencing Championships 2017 will be held at Hanoi’s My Dinh Indoor Gymnasium on October 26th, with the participation of teams from 15 countries and territories.
Vietnam will send 44 athletes (including famous names like Do Thi Anh and Nguyen Phuoc Den) to compete for 12 sets of medals (in the foil, Épée and Sabre events), for both men and women (individual and mixed).
International standard facilities are ready for the event.
This tournament is a good chance for the national fencing team to recruit more talents for the squad.
The most recent international tour that the nation hosted was the 10th Southeast Asian Fencing Federation (SEAFF) Championship in Ho Chi Minh city, November 2012./.
