PADIAN 2 ship with a cargo volume of 1,100 TEUs was added by Maersk Line to meet the import and export needs of customers in the context of scarcity of space and container equipment.

The event of welcoming the above three container ships is one of the activities of Hai Phong Port to congratulate Maersk Vietnam for 30 years of presence in the Vietnamese market.

As a member of Maersk Denmark, an international business group in many fields, mainly shipping, and considered the largest shipping company in the world, Maersk Vietnam is carrying out its mission to connect, simplify the global supply chain, connect customers in Vietnam with Asia and the world through seamless links with a wide network of global and intra-Asia services.

Hai Phong Port is honored to be one of the important destinations trusted by Maersk Line since the first years of expanding its network to the North.

In August, the total volume of goods through Hai Phong port reached 7.49 million tons, down slightly from the previous month. This month, the port welcomed and unloaded 164 ships; among which are 91 container ships./.
